FONT FORMATTING IN ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR

Learn how to take a typed font and transform it into a complete Yard Card letter set in Adobe Illustrator, formatted and prepared for professional print and contour cut.

This class will walk through the process of converting live text into editable objects, formatting individual letters, establishing consistent sizing and proportions, and preparing your finished alphabet for production.

We’ll focus on taking a font from something you can type with to something you can print, cut, and use as physical Yard Card letters.

By the end of this class, you’ll be able to take a typed font and turn it into a formatted, print-ready Yard Card letter set that can become part of your working inventory.

Practice files and instructional materials are included.

Attendees will also have access to a Study Hall to continue working on their letter sets, ask questions, troubleshoot formatting issues, and strengthen their Illustrator skills after the training.

About This Training

This is a live, instructor-led training session designed to provide clear, practical instruction you can apply immediately in your business.

Classes are taught live and include instructional materials and guided examples relevant to the topic being covered. Design classes also include practice files to support hands-on learning. This training does not include illustrator asset files such as balloon bundles or pre-built design sets unless specifically stated in the individual class description.

Each training session is part of our structured learning approach, allowing you to learn, plan, and implement skills over time without overwhelm.

Live attendance is strongly encouraged. A replay will be available for 45 days following the live class. Replay access is limited and not guaranteed beyond this window.
